Privacy notice — lesson requests (13 October 2026) The website collects your preferred name (optional), reply email and requested lesson time when you submit the lesson request form. These details, request status, timestamps and an internal random identifier are stored in a private teacher-management database. Authorized teachers use them to review requests, avoid duplicate confirmations and administer lessons. Public submission does not grant access to any private record, and no student account is created. The form does not verify email ownership; teachers must not treat knowledge of an email as identity verification. It does not read your Gmail inbox. When you email Yixuan, your email address, any name or details you include, and your requested lesson time are processed by your email provider and Gmail. Yixuan uses this correspondence to answer you, arrange lessons and handle changes, refunds or support. A preferred/display name is sufficient; do not send identity documents, home addresses, medical information, passwords or payment credentials. Student registration, online checkout and self-service private booking records are not enabled. The website has no payment-card fields or advertising trackers. Teacher sign-in is provided by the hosting service, which can pass an account identifier, email address and optional name. The server restricts the CMS and Gmail settings to authorized teacher accounts. Google processes the teacher's OAuth authorization; the application stores an encrypted authorization credential for the teacher's Gmail connection. No student Gmail authorization is requested. Authorized teachers can send an individual lesson-confirmation email through the connected Gmail account, containing the recipient email, course, scheduled time and Google Meet link. The application records the link and sending status privately. It does not read the inbox, create Meet rooms automatically, or send automatic refund notices. Google Meet processes meeting participation when you open and join a meeting. The site uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare D1/R2 for website content, images, private lesson requests and teacher integration records. These providers may process operational request information. External image hosts and linked services have their own policies. No storage-location or provider-retention guarantee is made. Website content stays until the teacher changes or removes it; removing an image reference does not delete the upload. Short-lived pseudonymous counters limit teacher writes and public submissions; raw email addresses and IP addresses are not stored in those counters. Rejected or cancelled request records can be deleted by an authorized teacher when no longer needed. This does not delete email copies. Email correspondence is retained only while necessary for lesson administration, support, disputes or legitimate recordkeeping. Provider logs and backups may have separate retention. Disconnecting Gmail removes the application's stored credential and attempts to revoke its Google access; it does not delete email correspondence. For access, correction or eligible deletion requests, email mandarinfortaiwanlife@gmail.com. Identity and authorization must be verified before private information is disclosed or deleted. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate obligations; immediate complete deletion, including providers' backups, is not promised.
